May is Mental Health Awareness Month! Mental Health IS Health, Period. The way we don’t hesitate to take care of ourselves when we feel sick we must take care of ourselves when we don’t feel well mentally, emotionally or spiritually. No one gets to define what wellness looks like for you but you. Don’t listen to the negative messaging about seeking help for mental health related wellness because those same people who are perpetuating the negativity aren’t well emotionally themselves…if they were, they would be encouraging people to be their best and not judging how they get there….Love yourself and do what is right for YOU. After all a lot of our clients are in need of therapy services to deal with those very people!
